Three Corners

The project started as an Architect on the Spot project looking at the feasibility of moving the stairs from the middle the the back of the house and removing an internal wall to create an open plan living/dining area.

Following some initial sketches and discussions it was clearly seen that the house had greater potential and a phased construction for improving and extending the house was developed.

Internal works involved knocking through the kitchen, living and a bedroom to make a large open plan area.  Bathrooms were remodelled and a second ensuite added.  Stairs were moved to the back of the house and most windows were replaced.  A shallow cellar was excavated to enable a utility and wet room to be included.

Completed in 2014.
